Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your NeoPapyrus account (published by MUNZIUM) and the data stored with it. You can request deletion by email even if you have already uninstalled the app.

Request from the app

Open the app and go to Settings → Delete account. Your request is submitted after you confirm.

Request without the app

If you have already uninstalled the app, email neobookerslib@gmail.com with the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We handle it the same way once we have verified it is you.

A 7-day grace period

Deletion runs 7 days after your request. During that time you can cancel from the app's settings or by replying to the same email, and nothing is lost. The window exists so an accidental tap can be undone.

What is deleted

Your account and sign-in details, your profile, and the content you created — library, reading records, sessions, notes, short reviews, collections and goals — along with images you uploaded (profile picture, covers for books you added yourself). Notes, collections and reviews you had made public are taken down as well.

What remains

Records we are required to keep by law or to handle disputes are retained only for the required period and then destroyed. Aggregate statistics that cannot identify you may remain.

When it happens

Once the grace period passes, a job that runs once a day performs the deletion. Your account is removed only after every uploaded file has been confirmed deleted, so it can occasionally take about a day longer.

Deleted accounts and records cannot be restored. If there is anything you want to keep, use the data export in the app's settings before requesting deletion.
